I really wish I had thought to do this last year! We are about to begin our second year of "surviving" seminary. Last year was truly a struggle with all the changes (jobs, day cares, the girls hearing issues and having Robert split between two cities). Having worked in mental health the last few months, the one thing I've picked up on is that "journaling" is supposed to be therapeutic...so here I go!
I was thinking of writing all the crazy things that happen to us, the funny things that the girls say...and whatever else crosses my mind at the time! I thought it would be fun to look back at the end of our seminary years and be able to say "Thanks God, we survived that!" LOL.
I am so glad you decided to do this, your girls say the darndest things!
ReplyDeleteI remember when you were Emma's age you said that one day when you were rich you would build a house big enough for all of us and we would all have our own wang (meaning wing). You already have a wealth of love and entertainment with your girls! Save everything you write(or type) for a book one day. It will be a "Best Seller"!! Love ya, Aunt Larayne
ReplyDeleteHow am I just finding this blog? I'm glad it showed up on facebook or I might never have seen it! :) GOOOOOOOOOOOO Alanna!!
